Protect Our Defenders (POD) is the only national organization solely dedicated to ending the epidemic of rape and sexual assault in the military and to combating a culture of pervasive misogyny, sexual harassment, and retribution against victims.
We are honored to have worked with Protect Our Defenders since 2012 to produce documentary film and social media campaigns that give voice to survivors of military sexual assault and sexual harassment and their advocates. These documentaries have received over 1 million views online and garnered multiple awards.
Protect Our Defenders uses these micro-documentaries for online advocacy campaigns, education on military bases and as press-hooks to build their high-profile media presence.
Col. Scott Jensen, subject of our most recent POD documentary, expressed his gratitude to our team:
Rebecca,
I can not begin to tell you how many people have reached out to me expressing thanks for what I am doing. To a person they comment on how moving and professionally done the video is. I have not received one negative comment from anyone—to include a great number that are still inside, senior, and in uniform. They are people who know me very well. I attribute this overwhelmingly positive response to the quality of how well you and your team “captured me” in the video—no one can call it made up, exaggerated, or fake. This has exceeded my wildest imagination.
This is a long way of simply saying thank you and well done—to you and your team. You all are truly rock stars!
