This short clip from America to Me features high-school student Chanti who uses a punching bag to work out her anxiety and trauma from prior relationship. Shot by Rebecca Parrish, this scene was cut by Editor David Simpson who interwoven one of Cahnti’s beautiful poems with a scene of Chanti at the punching bag.

This clip was featured at the 2019 Gracie Awards where Rebecca received the Documentary Director Award.
